Browsing the directory

This site sets no cookies of its own and has no accounts or sign-up.
Our host, Cloudflare, processes standard request data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.
Apart from the spam check on the two form pages (below), pages load their fonts, styles, scripts and images from this site only. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
Search and the table filters run in your browser. Search downloads parts of its index from this site as you type; nothing you type is stored.
Links to FDA's records and other sites take you to those sites, whose own privacy policies apply.
We will update this page before adding analytics, and any analytics we add will be cookieless.

The forms ask for your message and, if you choose to give them, your name, your email address and (on the corrections form) the address of the page with the error.
When you press send, the message, those details and the address of the page you sent it from are emailed to the site's editor through Cloudflare's email service. The email lands in a Gmail inbox, so Google holds that copy. Nothing you send is stored on this site or in a database here.
Your email address is used only to reply to you. It is never added to a mailing list.
To keep out spam, the form pages load Cloudflare Turnstilefrom Cloudflare's servers; it is the only script on this site that comes from another address. It runs a check in your browser and sends Cloudflare technical signals such as your IP address, browser user agent and TLS fingerprint, and it may keep data in your browser under Cloudflare's own domain. It doesn't read what you type into the form. When you send a message, the site passes your IP address to Cloudflare again to confirm the check, and counts messages per IP address for a minute to stop floods.
Messages stay in the editor's inbox until they are deleted. To have a message you sent deleted, ask through the contact form.
